Yahoo! I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally see the reverent sport of Dodgeball coming to the City of Coeur d'Alene. My interest obsession with dodgeball began a few short months ago when the Lovely Husband and I were asked by a friend to play in a tourney through Post Falls Park and Rec (My body KILLED me for the following week! TO. HELL. WITH. GETTING. OLD.) Correct that...
… my obsession began several years ago in the back yard at the aforementioned friend's 40th (uh-hmm!) b-day party. Yours truly was the only one left standing after nearly a full bottle of red wine (oops...) and wearing heals, nonetheless. Oh man! I wish someone had a video camera that night!!! Wait, let me rethink that…
Well, as if the humiliation at the tourney wasn’t enough (my team came in 12th out of 15 teams, urgh!), we are in the midst of a league that plays on Wednesday nights; my team is called “The Ball Blasters” --- I guess the City of Post Falls found “The Ball Busters” too offensive. Hmm…

Registration for co-ed dodgeball with the City of Coeur d’Alene will begin February 1st and go until March 5th. You must be 15 years of age or older. The team fee is $80.00 and includes an end of the season tournament. For more information, call the Recreation Department with any questions at 208-769-2250.
