This photo was taken by the Lovely Husband when he and MunchkinButt had a Daddy-Daughter date not too long ago. Since then, however, Jump-a-Lot has gone under an ownership change, but the spirit is the same: take the kiddies and let them jump the sillies right out of them. But, be prepared...
...don't say I didn't warn you when they fall asleep in the car on the way home and you get an entire evening by yourself and, maybe, some other important "somebody" --- don't say I didn't warn you!
But now, Jump-a-Lot is partnering up with with Children's Village in order to kill two birds with one stone (can I actually say that?): Jump-a-Lot needs some new visuals and Children's Village needs to keep doing what it's doing - helping kids and babies in crisis.
So, they're putting on THE jumpfest-to-end-all-jumpfests! The event will take place at Jump-a-Lot on Januray 28th (yes, that would be tomorrow) from 2-8 pm. For a $20 donation to the Children's Village Foundation, "The Big Picture" will provide a free 15 minute photo session for your child and a free 5X7 of your choice. Have two children? For a $30 donation you will receive a free 15 minute photo session for your two kids to share and one free 5X7. Children participating in this event may be displayed inside Jump-a-Lot or used in our marketing materials throughout 2010.
And that's not all! There will also be free snacks and free jumping as an added thank you to all who make a donation and have their photo's taken during the event. Caruso's Sandwich Company will provide free snacks to all and free lattes to parents. Now who ain't down with that?!?!?

Thank you so much for posting this wonderful event to your blog! We really love advertising in this way (events), because it gives back to the community as well! I've volunteered at the Children's Village (mother-in-law worked there for many years), and know first hand what special people they are, providing a very special service to children in need. This event is a win-win situation for all businesses and families involved, and we are so grateful and excited to be a part of it. Even if you don't book a photo session, we are still available for Open Jump today, the 28th, and of course, all are welcome to make any donation they like. Make it a great day!! Erin - I'm so glad you like the entry. I am very familiar with Children's Village myself (through The Kiwanis Club of Coeur d'Alene, of which I am a Board Member) and I believe with my entire being that they are so worthy. Best of luck to you! Come back often!!!
